The Verne

Named after Jules Verne, the literary giant who gave us such wildly adventurous sea stories including Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.

This two level cottage, renovated with all new furnishings, is perfect for two couples because it allows for plenty of space to be together and space to be apart. 

Your attention will be fully engaged by the view west over the water and the passing sail boats from the large cathedral ceiling in the living room and from the breezy glass/screened solarium. The Solarium has dining for 6 and a separate lounge area. The open kitchen with a large island is fully equipped for the aspiring chef. A propane BBQ keeps the heat out of the kitchen.

There is one 3 piece washroom and two bedrooms, one bedroom on each level, each complete with new luxury queen size beds and linens. The ground floor bedroom has a separate sitting area. Towels, bedding and blankets are provided.

Sit on the large terrace or on your own big dock to watch the sunset show every evening.

The Verne has two parking spaces available so you can leave your cars behind and ride your bikes 10 minutes into town. 

Complete with a television, free WIFi and a beach pass, all you need are your personal items, beach towels and a plan to be yourself.

The Conrad

The Conrad - Not avaiable for 2025 Seasoon

When thinking of Joseph Conrad, Heart of Darkness may be the first book to come to mind - but there is nothing dark about this cottage. Joseph Conrad wrote several books about the sea which you will find inside Conrad.  

The Conrad is a two story cottage great for three couples or a family as it has a fully equipped kitchen big enough to be comfortable for all the people that always want to help in the kitchen. The propane BBQ will give one a chance to get out of the kitchen. The adjacent dining room seats 6 comfortably for dining or games.

Grab a book and sit on the trellis covered deck that is the width of the whole house. The large deck can seat 8 or more people for dining or lounging. The living area that leads onto the deck provides unbelievable views over the water. Watch the boats pass and the sunset while inside or outside. If you are staying with us in the cooler months the stone fireplace will keep you comfortable. 

Three bedrooms upstairs, 2 with new queen size beds and 1 so large it was best for a new King size bed will entice all to curl up and sleep in. There are two washrooms on the second floor, 3 piece and a four piece. Towels, bedding and blankets are provided.

When you feel like being close to the water have a seat on the 500 square foot dock.

The Conrad has three parking spaces so car pool and make room for friends.

Melville

Not available for the 2025 season

You have to love someone named Herman Melville and we all loved Moby Dick. 

The Melville living room opens onto a glass solarium, complete with cosy lounge seating, that literally hangs over the water so you feel you are floating on the water. If you want to step outside there is a lovely deck.

The kitchen in The Melville has a view across the deck toward the passing sail boats and sunset. Your group can eat inside at a table for four or out on the deck.

There is one three piece washroom and two bedrooms in the Melville that are quite separate private and quiet. One bedroom has a great queen size bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. New linens, towels and bedding are provided. The Melville has two parking spaces.

The Melville is complete with a television, free WIFi and a beach pass, all you need are your personal items, beach towels and a plan to relax.
